SOiL überraschen ihre Fans passend zu Halloween mit einem neuen Musikvideo zu “One Love”, das mit einer schaurigen Konzeptstory aufwartet und keins der Bandmitglieder zeigt.
Die Idee dahinter war, ein etwas anderes Musikvideo zu präsentieren, wofür man schlussendlich „One Love“, das auf dem 2013er Album „Whole“ zu finden ist, als Vorlage nahm. Die Indie-Film-Macher David Gregory (Director) und James Morgan (Director of photography) bekamen hierfür den Zuschlag. Die Dreharbeiten fanden kürzlich in England statt, während SOiL dort mit Static X tourten.
“The Director approached us with a out of the box concept.” kommentiert SOiLs Tim King. “It was an odd concept to not feature the band and make the video more of a mini movie rather than a music video. Also with the song being 6 years old at this point it really made no sense to launch it as something brand new or in a traditional way”.
Die Band arbeitet aktuell an neuem Material, das 2020 erscheinen soll.
