One can’t talk about genre defining acts in the metal scene without mentioning one man: Ross “The Boss” Friedman has written music history as a founding member of Manowar and The Dictators...

Eight long years have passed by since „Hailstorm“, the latest album by heavy metal icon and Manowar co-founder ROSS THE BOSS, was released. But on April 20th the world will finally witness the return of Ross and his band, dishing out a full dose of raw and epic metal greatness: “By Blood Sworn”.

Ross "The Boss" Friedman left a huge mark on the scene as co-founder and songwriter of Manowar in the 1980s. Between 1982 and 1988, the band released one classic album after another and became the epitome of epic  heavy metal. In 1989, Ross left the band and indulged in other projects, in 2008 the cult guitarist launched his solo band under the banner ROSS THE BOSS - again clearly geared towards traditional heavy metal. The debut "New Metal Leader" was succeeded two years later by "Hailstorm".ung

To celebrate the tour kickoff, the band has released a cover version of the Manowar classic song "Blood Of My Enemies"...
